The product combination from the epoxy resin-based barrier primer ASODUR-SG3 and the hybrid-waterproof membrane AQUAFIN-RS300 creates a watertight section against water under pressure. The highly water-stable tile adhesives SOLOFLEX and UNIFIX-S3 offer a permanent solid bond underwater. Your work will profit from a self-contained and approved system with components that are ideally matched to your work.

1 Substrate Preperation

  • Mechanical removal of adhesion inhibiting layers
  • Producing a bonding coat with ASOCRET-HS-FLEX for a bonded screed to the floor area and with SOLOCRET-60 to the wall area, provided that levelling or screed is necessary
  • Producing a bonded screed with ASO-EZ4-PLUS to the floor area. Levelling with SOLOCRET-60 to the wall area
  • Priming the substrate with ASO-Unigrund-GE or ASO-Unigrund-PLUS

2 Creating bonded waterproofing

  • Insertion of the ASO-Dichtbands-2000 and the pre-formed pieces ASO-Dichtband-2000 Ecken, ASO-Dichtmanschette-Wand and ASO-Dichtmanschette-Boden with AQUAFIN-RS-300
  • Application of the first coat AQUAFIN-RS300
  • Application of the second coat AQUAFIN-RS300 Both coats together must have a minimum dry film thickness of 2 mm (6 + 7)

3 Installation of tiles

  • Laying the tiles in the Buttering-Floating method with SOLOFLEX or alternatively UNIFIX-S3

4 Grouting of Tiles

  • Grouting the walls and floors with CRISTALLFUGE or CRISTALLFUGE-EPOX
  • Creating movement joints with ESCOSIL-2000-UW

8 Capillary breaking grouting

  • Forming a capillary breaking casting with ASODUR-EV-200 at a minimum joint width of 15 mm and a minimum joint depth of 50 mm
