Dry and absolutely watertight basements are not a matter of course. Optimum basement waterproofing belongs to the most important requirements for a building which is to remain untroubled by moisture damage over the longer term. As moisture can penetrate basements from different sides, it requires different waterproof systems in order to guarantee comprehensive protection and dry and mould free living.<\/p>\n

2<\/span> Waterproofing wall-floor junctions<\/h4>\n

At the wall\/floor transition, construct a waterproof fillet with ASOCRET-M30. Apply a bonding slurry beforehand. This can be with either ASOCRET-M30 or AQUAFIN-1K. Alternatively, the waterproof fillet can be produced from ASO-Dichtband-2000-S.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”467″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1771741521882{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

3<\/span> Waterproofing pipe penetrations<\/h4>\n

Apply COMBIDIC-2K-PREMIUM with a 4 mm notched trowel and smoothen, bond the ADF-pipe gasket without folds and then completely overcoat.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner el_class=”right-col-sol”][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”483″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1771742765065{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

4<\/span> Waterproofing the foundation base transition<\/h4>\n

Apply a minimum of 2 coats of AQUAFIN-RB400 with a brush, steel float or suitable spray equipment. 5<\/span> Priming<\/h4>\n

6<\/span> Polymer modified bitumen coating – waterproofing<\/h4>\n

Apply COMBIDIC-2K-PREMIUM, COMBIDIC-2K-CLASSIC by trowel at a thickness appropriate for the type of moisture exposure. 7<\/span> Protective and drainage board<\/h4>\n
