Continental Garments Ind (Pvt.) Ltd. is one of the fore founders of RMG industry in Bangladesh. It was established in 1979 by a group of prominent and visionary businessmen. Based on its long-time experience in garments business, deep understanding with its clients and full confidence on its workforce, the group expanded in 2006 by shifting to a new manufacturing facility with an outlook to triple its production capacity. The company has been successfully running its operations for more than two decades, producing and exporting to buyers in the continents of Europe, America & Asia. Md. Delwar Hossain

Late Md. Delwar Hossain, a graduate of F.C. College, Lahore, Pakistan, was a partner in addition to that was also heading the organization since its inception. In 1984, he purchased entire 100% stake of the company. Since then has been involved in RMG business, making him one of the former most experienced RMG exporters of the country. A pioneer in the trade, he was elected twice as a Director in the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). He was also associated with the University of Asia Pacific as a Director.
